Starting Next Year, IGNOU Undergraduate Students Can Pursue Studies in Regular Universities

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is gearing up to transform undergraduate education with its innovative four-year degree program, slated to commence from the January 2024 session. This initiative aligns closely with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aiming to provide students with enhanced flexibility and a broader range of opportunities. One of the notable aspects of this program is that it allows students to transition seamlessly from open and distance learning (ODL) to traditional universities after completing their first year.
