Description
BCOC–134 consists of two parts – (a) Mathematics and (b) Statistics. The mathematics part introduces students to applying matrices and determinants in business, mathematical functions, limits, continuity, differentiation, derivatives, interest rates, the inverse of matrices, mathematical functions, maxima and minima of functions, compounding, and discounting. Business statistics focuses on central tendency measures, depression, simple linear correlation and regression, index numbers, and time series analysis.
