PART B
TUTORIAL
Activity 1: Collect data from 50 individuals (25 males and 25 females) on two continuous variables for example, weekly study hours and average nightly sleep hours. Record the rawdata in a tabular form, including participant sex, study hours, and sleep hours. For the male and female groups separately, and for the combined sample, compute the measures of central tendency (mean, median and mode) and measures of variability (standard deviation) for both variables.
Activity 2: Take any one block of your choice from BPCC104 and write a review of the same in about 500 words. The review needs to be in your own words and should cover the important aspects of the block.

Activity 1: Collect data of age (in years) and approx. annual income (in rupees) from 50 working individuals. For the obtained data compute mean, median, mode and standard deviation (separately for age and annual income). Tabulate the raw data and show the calculations with the help of formulae discussed in the course material of BPCC104. Draw suitable graphs based on the data collected.

क्रियाकल्प 1: 50 व्यक्तियों (25 पुरुष और 25 महिला) से दो सतत चरों (जैसे, साप्ताहिक अध्ययन
के घंटे और औसत रात्रिकालीन नींद के घंटे) से संबंधित आँकड़े एकत्र करें। प्राप्त आँकड़ों को सारणीबद्ध (टेबल) रूप में दर्ज करें, जिसमें प्रतिभागी का लिंग, अध्ययन के घंटे और नींद के घंटे शामिल हों। पुरुष और महिला समूहों के लिए अलग अलग तथा संयुक्त नमूने के लिए, दोनों चरों के लिए केन्द्रीय प्रवृत्ति के माप (औसत, माध्यिका और बहुलक) तथा प्रसार के माप (मानक विचलन) की गणना करें।
क्रियाकल्प 2: बी.पी.सी.सी. 104 में से अपनी पसंद की कोई एक खंड लें और लगभग 500 शब्दों में उसकी समीक्षा लिखिए। समीक्षा आपके अपने शब्दों में होनी चाहिए और खंड के महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं को सम्मिलित होना चाहिए।
